Microsoft has brought a new platform known as Windows Mobile, for the handheld, smartphones and mobile devices. Being a part of the Microsoft’s family, it is used in a lot of mobile phones, Tablet PCs and on-board computer systems for certain vehicles. It can be seen as a scaly down edition of the Windows Operating System, still making use of the well-known programs from the Windows apps. In edition 6.1 now, it has come a long way across from just an OS to a highly effective system with a lot of programs and wealthy features which allows effective Window mobile application development. Holding the well-known programs like Ms Office, Outlook mail, Internet Explorer, the Windows media player and even the well-known task bar of Windows, It offers the similar Windows experience on the smaller gadgets as on the pc.
